WHAT?

The Natural Resources MBA is designed to provide mid-career professionals with a unique opportunity to earn their MBA while continuing to work and pursue their career ambitions. The program is designed to support the careers of those from a range of backgrounds within the natural resource and energy sectors. The curriculum will be comprised of courses common to traditional MBA programs (e.g., accounting, finance, marketing), and will be enriched with course materials that address the opportunities and challenges unique to best practices within the natural resources sectors. In particular, topics essential to understanding stakeholder engagement and social and environmental issues will be explored.

WHY?

Deep understanding of these topics is vital in managing today's natural resource companies which must follow strategies that are both sustainable and competitive. Dalhousie believes in providing for industry specific management education. The program offers practising managers a fully-integrated, top-quality business education from a nationally recognized institution.

WHERE?

Dalhousie University, in Halifax, NS is one of Canada's thirteen research universities. The innovative MBA (NR) program will be delivered principally online, complemented by face-to-face intensive sessions offered in a variety of cities.

WHO?

Two schools within Dalhousie's Faculty of Management have joined forces to provide this unique program: the AACSB-accredited School of Business Administration, and the School for Resource and Environmental Studies. Courses will be delivered by award-winning institutions.

WHEN?
